Oval Track, Drag Racing, Rallying, and Closed Course Slalom Racing are venues available for the racing enthusiast in the Huntsville Area. The following facilities/clubs provide outlets for those with the "Need for Speed" :

Huntsville Speedway	Huntsville Dragway
1/4 Mile paved oval track located just off Hobbs Island Road in extreme southeast Huntsville. Racing every Friday night (weather permitting). Active divisions include: Late Model Open Wheel Street Stock Mini Stock Hobby Stock Legends Choose a month to see the remainder of the 2000 schedule: July August September	1/8 mile dragstrip located near the intersection of Jeff Road and Highway 53 in Harvest, Alabama north of Huntsville.
